las ideas van tomando forma

Algo que me costó mucho trabajo, aparte de pensar en el nombre, fué el de escoger el tipo de letra y bueno, en general el diseño del empaque de los broches (prendedores).

One of the things that took me a lot of time, beside choosing the name, was choosing the font for the packaging of the brooches.

Las bicis ya toman forma, cada una es diferente, unas con flores, otras con corazones y otras con estrellas.

The idea gets' round anthe bikes are ready, each one is different, ones have flowers, others a heart or silver stars.

Hace un par de semanas que empezé a preparar unos broches en forma de bici para un mercadillo en el participará la Asamblea Ciclista de Valladolid en los proximos dias. Iré poniendo algunas fotos de todo el proceso de trabajo.

A couple of weeks ago I started working in some brooches with the shape of a bike. I´ll be putting some pictures of the "work in progress"

Encontré en casa una bandeja pequeña para poder llevar mis cositas de coser por toda la casa, mientras me siento a ver la tele o mientras vigilo a mi pequeña.

I found at home a small tray where I can carry my felt, and my threads and needles all over the house, while I´m watching tv or keeping an eye over my little daughter.

Aqui, la primera parte, cortar la bici, decidir colores y empezar a coser!!!

Empezando

Por fin logre ponerle cabecera al blog, no es la definitiva, pero hay que comenzar por algo. De momento estoy cosiendo y cosiendo, espero pronto poder empezar a colgar fotos de los broches que estoy haciendo. Mañana me voy a la playa, y me llevo una cajita con hilos y fieltro, espero poder avanzar.

Finally I get started with this, the picture above is not the definitive, but I had to start with something. I speak spanish, and I know that my written english is not very good, but one of the goals of this blog is to do it in both languages (so, sorry for the mistakes...)

I'm sewing right now, and I hope to finish some felt brooches soon, so I can put some pictures of them. Tomorrow I leave to the beach and I'm taking some felt with me , I hope I can do a little of work.
